Combat Search and Rescue Posted by Rocky on Wednesday, September 26 2007
CSR by Cangaroo.TNT is a custom multiplayer gametype for GRAW 2 that comes with 4 maps. The objective is quite straight forward, but with detailed scoring and clever spawn rules, this is a game that will be won by the intelligent squad not the gun happy crowd."The objective for both teams is to find the VIP before the opposing team. Centcom has intel on his last 16 known locations. Once you find him, help him make his way to the extraction point before the enemy can track him down and kill him. Be careful not to extract your CSAR team before the VIP. Either team can locate the VIP. Whichever team is successfull is considered the CSAR team"
Download Combat Search and Rescue here, get online at the "Combat Search And Rescue" server, and find out who rules at hostage recovery! Will you escort the VIP if you find him, or wait for your squad to back you up? Maybe you'd rather camp it out at a likely spot and take out the enemy as he snoops around... lot's of strategy in this gametype! Read more on this extremely clever GRAW 2 modification in the forums here.

TRR Map Pack Final Released Posted by Rocky on Monday, September 24 2007
Lightspeed has released the final version of his Total Random Respawn modification for GRAW 2. This final stable version has now grown to 34 maps with random respawns, and includes the superb Castle Day/Night conversion from Biro. Additionally there are now server controlled settings for gameplay adjustments. TRR improves gameplay by adding random respawn locations, making spawn camping a thing of the past. Two teams will spawn in one of 4 random spawn points on the map - after that players killed will spawn at 32 random spawns placed strategically around the map. Teams have to defend and cover all angles because you wont know where the respawned players are going to attack from. Teamwork becomes crucial especially for clan battles. Many of the respected GRAW 2 servers will be running this modification, so grab it now!

Advance and Secure for GRAW 2 Posted by Rocky on Sunday, September 9 2007
Cangaroo.TNT has produced an intruiging custom game type for multiplayer GRAW 2. In Advance and Secure you must secure three objectives before the enemy, the catch being only one objective is available at a time, and they vary from buildings, vehicles, assets, or even personnel. There's a detailed scoring system to ensure tactics will win the day, rather than simply destroying the enemy. Coloured smoke will indicate which team holds the objective. Sounds like fun, download the AAS gametype here, and join the "Advance And Secure Game Mode Test Server" server to try it out! Forum discussion.
