GR:AW Community Mod v1.0 Posted by Rocky on Saturday, May 27 2006
The GR:AW Community Mod Pack v1.0 from Silent Op gives GR:AW a more "hardcore" immersive feeling when playing CO-OP. There are no friendly green diamonds anymore which will force teams to look before shooting. You must really work as a team, use your voice comms and know your team's location relative to you. With the Nar Com video removed, all Nar Com broadcasts remain as audio only. Additionally the Blood Mod by DiGiTALY -TC- is included and makes it very clear when you hit a tango or when anyone on your team is being hit. The look is very much like that of GR1, in terms of the blood spray. Full credits and discussion in our forums here.

GR.net v RSE Posted by Rocky on Saturday, May 27 2006
Earlier this year the GR:AW 360 development team at Red Storm Entertainment agreed to a challenge match with a team representing Ghost Recon.net. In March 2006 ZJJ completed the selection process for the GR.net team, and they've been training for the match since then. The results of the game are now in, with the RSE team winning 2-1. Christian Allen from RSE has posted up a match summary here which makes for great reading. "The GR.net team played great games, we really had a good time..." Christian Allen, RSE To read more after action reports from both camps, check this discussion out. Thanks to the team who represented GR.net with such flair, and to RSE for being such good sports and taking time out to accept the challenge match.

Ghost Recon Booth Babes at E3 Posted by Rocky on Friday, May 12 2006
Despite an earlier panic that there would be no Booth Babes at E3 this year, media is being smuggled out of E3 showing that things are as interesting as ever at the games trade event of the year. Despite a protest, it looks like Ubisoft didn't let the show down on the Booth Babe front...
At least it's something to keep us going until Ubisoft release some new Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter information!

In addition to a brand new look designed by NYR there are a bunch of new forum features to make your posting habits easier and also include new cool features. It's been a long time coming, but it is here now - released in the USA yesterday and across Europe today and tomorrow, the next installment in the Ghost Recon series for the PC...
It's been 53 months since the original was released in November 2001 (to critical acclaim and Game of the Year status), and we have endured the disapointment of never seeing Ghost Recon 2 appear on the PC, but that's all in the past now. Now we have a new Ghost Recon, from a new design team and a fresh start with a new game engine, new effects, a new buzz about the place - and many competitions and tournaments on the horizon. To celebrate the launch we have a pair of superb Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter T-Shirts to give away. Details will be posted this coming weekend, so check back then!
