Ahead of Ghost Recon Future Soldier's release later this month, Ubisoft today announced the first Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier DLC package, the Arctic Strike Map Pack.

The DLC will be available from 3^rd July for 800 Microsoft points on Xbox Live or £7.99 on the PlayStation Network .

Members of movie rental service Love Film can watch the Ghost Recon short movie right now, streaming from their website.

According to this Beefjack interview, Ghost Recon Future Soldier on the PC is to be an enhanced version, and not a straight port.

In this Machinima interview, Red Storm's Tommy Jacob describes in detail exactly what excitement Ghost Recon Future Soldier Multiplayer has in store for us.

With plenty of in-game footage, Tommy describes Conflict mode, Decoy Objective, Saboteur and the hardcore Siege mode that will be playable on all ten of the multiplayer maps available at launch.

Weapons fans can look forward to around 50 weapons, each one customizable with around 50 individual attachments making for many thousands of options.

Ghost Recon Network is a new initiative that will allow Ghost Recon fans to stay connected to the game even when they are away from the consoles or PC.

Using a variety of mobile devices a Ghost Recon feed will allow gamers to check on stats and interact with Ghost Recon in a previously unheard of way.
